Sometimes you walk around like a walking zombie. You step on a lego...you try to drink some coffee, but for whatever reason, you are just in a funk. Your sleep cycle is off and you don’t know why. So now that you are a new parent, let’s get your sleep game back up to par!
Getting the sleep you need and getting the sleep you want are two different issues for new parents. By now, you probably know how much sleep you want to get to function normally during the day. For most adults, it’s 6-9 hours of sleep. But for new parents, it’s whatever you can get during the day!

The reality is that your bedtime as a new parent is whenever you can find time. Sometimes that means falling asleep in a rocking chair or on the floor by your baby’s bed. The important thing is you try to get as much sleep as you can.
