Sooo here I am, pushing my daughter through the local zoo, through loose sand, on a 100 degree day, carrying my wife's diaper bag.  Which, by the way, has everything and then some packed in there for both kids. Pain. In. The. Ass. Let's analyze all the things I could have done better to prevent this displeasure:
  1. Bring my backpack diaper bag and camelback so the one arm slung, girlie one wouldn't keep falling off my shoulder and simultaneously make me look, well, girlie.
  2. Bring my other stroller with the larger wheels to push through the sand easier.
  3. Leave all the misc. not needed bullshit in the car(only 5-10 minute walk back from anywhere in the zoo) to lighten the load. If I really needed the Tylenol, extra sets of clothes, extra food, etc.. I could have just ran back to the car.
  4. Lastly, I could have not brought the kids to the zoo on a 100 degree sunny day!
All in all, they had a great time. Makes it all worth it. Just remember, proper planning prevents piss poor performance.
