Yup, that’s right, this was only some months ago! I’m a 36 yr old adult male now! But let me explain… This was no ordinary blanket. Me and this blanket had been through A LOT together. It had kept me warm through hundreds of cold nights, and even warm nights when I just needed something to snuggle with. We braved numerous reconnaissance missions together…me, my team, and our army blankets. You could say that these blankets became our “baby blankets” or “security blankets” of sorts. We wouldn’t leave for a mission without them. Whether we were using them to keep us warm, provide a makeshift shelter, insulate us from the ground, provide camouflage for a hide site, or even to just block the sun when it was 120 degrees in the desert…our “Woobie’s” never left our side. So when HighSpeedLittleMan came over and said that he wanted a blanket just like daddy, what else would a HighSpeedDaddy do to make his son happy?!?! . . . . .
