We all know healthy, balanced snacks are an important part of childhood development but no one ever tells us that the same healthy snacks are great for adults! Snacks that are balanced are high in protein, carbohydrates (the good kind), and healthy fats. When you start getting the hang of it, it’s pretty easy to mix and match delicious combinations of those three food important groups. For kids, just make sure you’re paying attention to the size and “munchability” of certain snacks - we don’t want any choking hazards for the little ones. Don’t forget to grab the best lunchbox in the game! It can hold ALL of the snacks listed below and more.
There are two main categories of snacks: quick and easy/grab-and-go and better for home (read: messier). We’ll give you a good combination of both here:
